Event information

The Basics -
A participant can enter individual events or choose "The Eurekan" challenge. The Eureka Springs Multisport Festival is structured so the entire family can participate in one or all of the events. And for those who want to just relax, there is plenty to do in this historic community.

  • 9am to 11:30 am - Packet Pickup & Late Registration For Triathlon Only - Inn of the Ozarks
  • 1pm to 2:30 pm - On site Packet Pickup at Holiday Island. Holiday Island Recreation Center - 13 Buckskin Lane, Holiday Island, AR 72631
  • 3:00pm - Triathlon at Holiday Island
  • 5pm to 9pm - Packet Pickup & Late Registration For Saturday & Sunday Events. Location - Inn of the Ozarks.

  • 5:00am - Packet Pickup/Registration For Bike Events Only
  • 6:05am - Prayer
  • 6:10am - National Anthem
  • 6:15am - Bike Races - 68
  • 6:20am - Bike Races - 58
  • 6:25am - Bike Races - 32
  • 6:30am - 20 Mile Bike Tour Ride - (begin at courthouse parking lot)
  • 6:30am - 100 Mile Bike Tour Ride
  • 6:45am - 58 Mile Bike Tour Ride
  • Staging Location - Victoria Inn - (intersection of E. Van Buren & Ridgeview Rd). 2.5 miles east from Hwy 23/62. 4028 East Van Buren, 72632

    Sunday, August 11:
  • 6:00am - Packet Pickup/Registration inside the city auditorium located adjacent to courthouse
  • 7:30am - 5K Run
  • 7:45am - 10K Run
  • 7:50am - 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
  • 11:00am - Video & Picture Recap of the weekend...YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS THIS!!
  • 11:05am - Run, Bike Events & Triathlon Recaps
  • 11:15am - door prizes for all event participants who attend the ceremony
  • 11:30am - Awards ceremony - Eureka Springs Auditorium
  • Location - Eureka Springs City Auditorium & Courthouse - 44 South Main Street, 72632
  • participant Requirements -
  • You must be in good health and prepared to take on the challenges of either a triathlon, bike races, bike tour rides, 5K, 10K, Fun Run/Walk or "The Eurekan"
  • Strollers & Pet are not allowed in either the 10K or 5K runs, but are welcome in the Fun Run/Walk
  • Head phones are welcome in the running events only, but caution is urged
  • Head phones are NOT allowed in the triathlon, bike races or rides....period!
  • Must pickup packets in person for, The Eurekan, Triathlon and Bike events
  • For running events, pre registered participants can have a representative show a signed copy of his/her registration to pick up race packets
  • Race numbers and Timing Chips are required to participate in all events except fun run/walk
  • No Refunds. See additional information on the Registration link for protocols
  • All events will be held rain or shine.
  • Minimum Age Requirements - *please note how final age is calculated:
  • Triathlon - Age 10
  • Bike Races - Age 12
  • Bike Ride (20 miles) - Age 6 (accompanied by parent/guardian), age 10 if not
  • Bike Ride (58 miles) - Age 14
  • Bike Ride (100 miles) - Age 16
  • 5K and 10K Runs - Age 10
  • Fun Run/Walk - no minimum
  • *Age calculated as of December 31 for triathlon and bike events
  • *Age calculated as of day of the event for running events

  • Triathlon:
  • Overall Male & Female finisher
  • Three deep at 10-year increments beginning at 10-19 thru 70+.
  • Overall Male, Female and Coed Team.
  • Bike Races:

  • Bike Rides:
  • Lots of post-race food and beverages!
  • 10K:
  • Overall Male & Female finisher
  • Three deep at 10-year increments beginning at 10-19 thru 70+.
  • 5K:
  • Overall Male & Female finisher
  • Three deep at 10-year increments beginning at 10-19 thru 70+.
  • 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk:
  • Custom finisher ribbons.

    In order to reduce the incredible waste and impact which events can have on the environment, All Sports Productions, City of Eureka Springs and the Eureka Springs Multisport Festival are taking steps to lessen the impact of the race in the following ways:
  • Online registration only
  • Shirt options are given to each participant
  • Solar power will be used where possible to lower energy use
  • Bulk race supplies to reduce packaging
  • Recycling race supplies
  • Donating food and supplies to local charities
  • Non-dated race medals and awards
  • Electronic race results
  • Reduced use of print advertising
  • Encouraging car pooling
  • Use of low-emission race vehicles
  • Use of electric all-terrain vehicles where possible
  • More announcements to follow on ways we can all help protect our planet.
